1 July 2023 marks the beginning of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU. We welcome its commitment to promoting social justice and upholding the rights of children, women and persons with disabilities. We also propose a series of recommendations for them to ensure the rights of children to live in a caring and safe family environment are sufficiently met.
