Campaigns

Together, we can get millions of separated children out of orphanages and Back to Family.

Around the world, at least 5.4 million children are currently separated from their families. They’re shut away inside orphanages, even though 80% are not orphans.

We need to get these children back to family. We have a clear roadmap guiding the way home, and a century’s worth of research proving children belong in families, not orphanages.

Join our global movement to get these separated children back to family.

Why it matters

Tika was taken from his family by traffickers. For a high fee, they promised his parents that he would be well cared for and educated in an institution in the city. Instead, he was taken to an orphanage, where he survived alone for two years, neglected, abused and exploited to elicit donations from tourists.
