Get Involved: Partner with us

We’re building a global movement that will make it possible for every child to grow up with a loving family, and corporate partners have a major role to play alongside us. Read on to find out how we’re achieving our mission with our corporate supporters and how your organisation can be involved.

Why partner with us

We’ve been working tirelessly to close orphanages, support children into loving families and help governments tackle the root causes of family breakdown for nearly thirty years. Unlike most international NGOs, we’re working towards an ambition that is achievable within our lifetime: the elimination of institutional care. Our corporate partners have a crucial role to play in this. They work with us to drive systemic change and generate huge global impact.

We’ve been moving children out of orphanages and into loving homes in more countries, and for longer, than any other organisation. But it’s when we combine the generosity and skills of our corporate partners with our own knowledge and expertise that transformational change happens. Our partnerships are carefully designed to meet shared objectives and tailored to the priorities of each partner, whether they’re interested in staff engagement opportunities or working towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

“Working in true partnership with the passionate team at Hope and Homes for Children was truly humbling and engaged thousands of the St. James’s Place community, raising awareness, funds and providing hope for vulnerable children around the world.”

David Bellamy, Chief Executive of St. James’s Place 2007-2018 and former Chair of the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation.

Strategic Partnerships

Strategic partnerships go beyond more traditional approaches to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). They involve working together to address some of the most pressing priorities in our programmatic, research and advocacy work. By working in partnership to leverage the unique expertise and resources of a  company in this way, we can achieve life-changing impact for thousands of children.

One of our most long-standing strategic partners is St. James’s Place and the Charitable Foundation, who began supporting our work over twenty years ago. Their long-term investment into our programmes in Central and Eastern Europe have brought us to a crucial tipping point across the region, while the St. James’s Place Sprint Triathlon has run for over 17 years, enjoyed by over 1,000 participants and raising in excess of £2 million.

Staff engagement

We love working with staff teams to raise awareness and funds for our work while they harness their skills and networks, spend time together outside of the office and have fun! We work with our partners to design exciting and rewarding engagement opportunities, from treks and triathlons to festive card competitions. Our Corporate Partnerships team are always on hand to provide bespoke and creative ways to achieve your CSR ambitions.

“At a time of uncertainty, when the future of one’s own is unclear, clocking up the miles for others somehow felt like the right thing to do. We dedicated our time for others, but somehow the experience kept us feeling alive and hopeful. After all, it was for the CHILDREN, our future.”

Kahori Aoki, Allen & Overy’s Tokyo Office. Kahori took part in the Around the World Challenge which involved Partners, employees and alumni from across A&O’s global offices and raised an incredible £37,000

Brand Partnerships

We work with brand partners to raise awareness of the harm caused by orphanages and promote family-based care, as well as raising funds for our work. If your brand shares our belief in the importance of family and a safe home for every child, we’d love to hear from you.

YouTube supported our ‘End the Silence’ campaign, which inspired artists including Elton John and Ed Sheeran to share the music that holds the most special memory from their childhood. The campaign raised awareness of the millions of children growing up without love, family or music and raised more than £5 million for our work.

Sponsorship opportunities

We run a number of amazing high-profile events and engagement opportunities throughout the year, inviting our partners to provide sponsorship and pro-bono support. Not only can this ensure we can maximise the benefits of these events and meet our ambitious fundraising goals, but it also enables our partners to profile their support in front of a wide range of businesses and supporters across the UK and beyond. We’d love to work with you to find the right sponsorship opportunity for your organisation from our upcoming selection of events.

Partnership opportunities for SMEs

We love finding creative ways for small and medium sized businesses to get involved in supporting our work. From sharing our appeals with their clients and customers to taking part in challenge events, we have loads of ideas about how you could work with us.

Some examples of SMEs we’ve worked with include:

Integritas partnered with us in 2021 for two years, committing to donating 1% of their annual payment revenue to us. In 2023, they upped their commitment to 10 years. They’ve taken on challenges to fundraise for us, including ‘50k Your Way’ and the Royal Parks Half Marathon, and they’ve raised awareness of our work in the community, including partnering with a local boys’ football team.

In 2022, Lawntech supported our Ukraine Emergency Appeal, launching an initiative where they offered customers an opportunity to donate their £40 referral bonus to our Appeal. Lawntech and their customers raised over £4,000 to support those affected by the invasion in Ukraine.

Superstar Nannies became a partner in 2023. They’ve committed to donating 1% of their invoices to Hope and Homes for Children for one year. On top of this, Superstar Nannies is offering a 15% discount to new customers who come to them through our site.
