Bridget Kendall, our Chair

Former BBC Moscow correspondent, Bridget Kendall was appointed the first female Master of Peterhouse, the University of Cambridge’s oldest College, in 2016. Since 2020 she has been a Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge. She also hosts a weekly discussion programme on academic topics for the BBC, The Forum.

Lord Sumption

Jonathan Sumption, Lord Sumption is a British author and medieval historian who sat as Justice of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom between 2012 and 2018.

Robert Peston

Robert Peston is ITV’s political editor, presenter of the politics show “Peston”, founder of the education charity, Speakers for Schools, and vice president of Hospice UK.

Baroness Hayter

Dianne Hayter, Baroness Hayter of Kentish Town is a British politician who has served as a Member of the House of Lords since 2010. A member of the Labour and Co-operative Party, she was Shadow Deputy Leader of the House of Lords from 2017 to 2021.

Tom Newton Dunn

Tom Newton Dunn is the Presenter and Executive Editor of TalkTV’s flagship evening news programme, First Edition.
