Getting together with friends and family can be a great feeling. It’s even better when you know that you’re also ensuring vulnerable families get the chance to know this feeling too. On this page we’ve shared some of our favourite activities and what others have done to put the FUN back into fundraising!
Get Inspired!
"We've organised the ‘Best Foot Forward Walk’ every year since 2005. After our walk we usually finish with a fun picnic altogether. It’s a great way to support the charity and meet old and new friends."
Ideas for events with friends
From bake sales to pub quizzes, tea parties to gaming, you’ve done them all! Here are some of our favourites to inspire your fundraising today.
Hold a curry quiz night
Combine two great British institutions for an evening of laughs and great food. You could even ask your local pub to help you host the evening.
Raise the stakes at a race night
A fun and exciting evening of entertainment for everyone to enjoy. You could even include extras to raise more on the night, like a raffle, programme sponsorship and a meal.
Let them eat cake
A classic tea party is a firm favourite at Hope and Homes for Children. Who can say no to a slice of Victoria Sponge or a brownie? Invite guests to make a donation for a cuppa and cake or charge a small entry fee.
We’re here to support you every step of the way so please tell us about your fundraising or if you’d like more information about any of the ideas we shared above, please complete the form below.
