Join us in 2023 for this once in a lifetime adventure and explore the Annapurna region in the breath-taking Himalayas of Nepal.
About the trek
The highlight of our challenge will be to summit Poon Hill at sunrise at 3,210m – a majestic peak which offers trekkers an unobscured view of the highest peaks in the Annapurna region.
This is a 5 day trek with 2 days either side for travel, so it’s perfect for all ages and abilities. The minimum age to take part is 18, but 14-17 year olds can take part as long as they’re accompanied by a parent or guardian. Our accommodation whilst on the trek will be local tea houses, offering basic but charming comforts after a day of trekking. Sponsorship target: £1,820
The costs above include all flights, accommodation, food, porters, guides, permits and some equipment like sleeping bags. Additional costs include airport taxes (£250), travel insurance, some meals while in Kathmandu, your Nepalese visa and tips. You can either fundraise to cover these costs alongside the sponsorship you raise for Hope and Homes for Children, or you can pay these costs yourself, upfront or in instalments.
