The application process for the Children’s Taskforce is now closed. Thank you to those that applied and we will be in touch in due course
The Children’s Taskforce is being established to ensure the voices of children and young people with lived experience (of being without parental care or having been at risk of family separation, for example, kinship care, foster care, institutions, street-connected children) are heard and taken seriously. The Taskforce will provide a direct and consistent mechanism for those aged 14-25 (with priority given to those under 18) to shape policy and contribute their expertise to the development and implementation of the Global Campaign on Children’s Care Reform.
We are excited to work with the children and young people themselves to shape the Taskforce and support their leadership in driving national and regional care reform through three main pillars: sharing their Advice, raising Awareness and peer-to-peer Engagement.
