Chris is married with two children and has worked at Hope and Homes for Children since 2001. "I enjoy working at Hope and Homes for Children because everyone is so friendly. There are two aspects to my busy part-time role in the Resources team - as well as looking after Hope and Homes for Children's purchase ledger, I oversee international travel for all our staff.

"It can be hectic and the days go by quickly, but we have a really good relationship with the travel agents we use and ultimately I find it good fun.

"I feel inspired by just how far Hope and Homes for Children has come. It has always been our goal to reunite children with families and close loveless institutions - however nice they may look. But it's the work we do with the local governments which is having an amazing effect. People are sitting up and listening to us and we have a voice which is being heard.

"Knowing in some small way I help to make this happen is a huge inspiration to me."
