Malcolm joined Clifford Chance in 1983 and has been a partner since 1990. He has a widely established reputation as a leading corporate finance lawyer, working internationally and most recently with a particular focus on the developing markets.
Malcolm spent four years in the Middle East and previously led the firm’s London banking group, being elected Senior Partner from 1 January 2011. He is also chair of the firm’s Partnership Council and its Alumni Board.
In addition to his role at Clifford Chance, Malcolm is a European Advisory Board Member of The Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business; an Advisory Board Member of TheCityUK; an Advisory Board Member of the China-Britain Business Council; an Advisory Board Member of the Heart of the City Charity and a Fellow of the 48 Club.
