We are delighted to have appointed the Founder and CEO of Vue Entertainment, Tim Richards (pictured right), as our new Chair of Trustees. Tim replaces Matt Bell who served as Chair for seven years.

Our Chief Executive, Rick Foulsham, describes how “we are delighted that Tim has agreed to take over as our new chair of trustees. He will bring further important experience, perspective and leadership to our existing multi-disciplined group of trustees.”

Before entering the entertainment industry, Tim was a Wall Street lawyer engaged in international finance and cross-border mergers and acquisitions while based in both London and New York. Over the course of the last 19 years in cinema exhibition, Tim has developed extensive operational experience in over 14 major international markets and has an excellent understanding of the countries and cultures in which some of our projects operate.

Tim says, “Hope and Homes for Children is a superb charity which is transforming individual children’s lives while at the same time influencing national childcare systems across Central and Eastern Europe and Africa. I feel privileged to have been invited to take on this role and I intend to do all I can to support the organisation’s development over the coming years.”
