| Congratulations to our Kigali Runners
We recently asked you to support Team Laurien who were taking part in the Kigali Peace Marathon on 22 May 2010 in Rwanda. A massive thank you to all those who sponsored the runners, but especially to the runners themselves who thoroughly enjoyed the day and managed to raise just over £1,000.
Joining Laurien on the day was Oreste, Welcome, Prime, Gilbert, Jean, Dady, Aboubakar, Christian, Bonaventure, John Bosco, Goreth and Jeanne – like Laurien they are all beneficiaries of our work and felt compelled to help other children who find themselves in a similar position to them. The team also included five members of Hope and Homes for Children staff and other members of the community – so congratulations to them all for taking part in the run!
