Thank you for reading about Olga Kurylenko and her mother’s visit to our projects in Ukraine and choosing to make a donation or find out more about our work. We are delighted that Olga and Maryna are helping us to raise awareness of the issue of children growing up in institutions.

Sadly, this issue is not restricted to Ukraine as across Central and Eastern Europe alone there are estimated to be over 1 million children growing up in bleak, state-run institutions. It is shocking that many of these children have one or both parents alive and poverty is the main cause of child abandonment. Our work is showing that it is possible for all children to grow up within a caring family environment where they get the individual care and attention they deserve.

With your support we can continue to transform the lives of some of the most vulnerable children in the world. Here’s how you can get involved:

Your donation could help us to change a child's life forever. No matter the size of your gift it is greatly appreciated.
Why not support our work by taking part in an amazing adventure while raising funds? Challenges include parachute jumps, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro or cycling from London to Paris.
Does your company have a ‘charity of the year’ scheme or is interested in fundraising on our behalf?
In 1998 we were invited by the Government of Ukraine to develop their family-based childcare projects as an alternative to institutional care.
