Mount Kenya Trek

Mount Kenya Trek

Dates available:
25 June – 04 July 2010
28 January – 06 February 2011

The summit of Mount Kenya rises to 5199m and dominates the rich green farmland of Kenya’s Central Highland Region. Surrounded by dense forest, rich in African flora and fauna, Mount Kenya can only be conquered by experienced mountain climbers. However, this trek takes on the mountain’s third highest peak, Point Lenana, which measures in at 4985m and is a considerable challenge in itself.

This trek takes you across the entire mountain range and its numerous bio-diverse ecosystems. From lush vegetation to barren rock, Mount Kenya and its National Park has it all and it will, quite simply, take your breath away.

Guide Itinerary:
DAY 1: Depart London for Nairobi
DAY 2: Transfer to lodge north of Nairobi and prepare for trek
