St James’s Place Sprint Triathlon and Duathlon
Sunday 1st October 2017, Nuffield Health, Fitness & Wellbeing, St Albans
Swim, cycle and run to transform the lives of children around the world.
“I completed my first triathlon today and it was a fantastic experience thanks in the main to the wonderful organisation and the fantastic marshals who were so cheerful and encouraging”
Join us and take part in the 2017 SJP Triathlon or Duathlon, raising vital funds to support Hope and Homes for Children’s work.
Over the past fifteen years, our amazing Triathletes and Duathletes have raised over £1.6million to ensure that thousands more children can grow up in the love of a family, not suffer in an orphanage. Hope and Homes for Children’s work continues. Enter this year’s event as an individual or challenge your friends to take part as a team to tackle the 400m indoor swim, 21km road cycle and a 5km final road run of the Triathlon. For those who prefer to stay on dry land enter the Duathlon, consisting of a 5km run, 21km road cycle and another 5km run to cross the finish line.
The Triathlon is renowned for its friendly atmosphere and warm welcome and is the perfect event for those who are considering taking on their first challenge event of this kind, or for returning participants looking to beat their personal best. All abilities welcome!
Registration costs just £15.00 and we ask that each participant aims to raise £485 for Hope and Homes for Children.
St. James’s Place Foundation
The St. James’s Place Foundation and Hope and Homes for Children have worked together for 17 years to transform the lives of children trapped in institutional care across Central Europe and Africa. The St. James’s Place Foundation Triathlon and Duathlon is just one of the many ways in which the Foundation has supported Hope and Homes for Children and we are delighted to be able to continue this exciting and transformational partnership.
